Awesome, awkward, awful

AWESOME:
* I got my first pay check this week!
* Some of my clothes came in that I ordered!
* I got to go clubbing and shopping in Spokane with my best friend Jade :)
* I bought my shoes for Canada! and they are adorable!

AWKWARD:
* When a car runs over your foot VERY slowly and you can't do anything about it until it's over.
* Valentines Day. I think that says enough. I tried not to act like a 13 year old without a boyfriend but it was hard watching everyone else be all lovey dovey.
* Earlier this week I was creeping on someones facebook pictures and accidentally liked one of his pictures from a long time ago. Talk about awkward. I'm almost positive he knows I was creeping now. haha
* One of my biceps is noticeably larger than the other one. Apparently when I dry cars at work I use my right arm way more than my left. :(

AWFUL:
* Old lady drivers that are extremely rude. I tried to tell this lady to roll her window up as I was guiding her into the car wash and she stuck her head out her window to tell me "I will when I'm inside!" I was just trying to save her from getting sprayed in the face with soap..
* Coworkers who are slackers and don't really want to work. I can't stand when people think they can take off every weekend in one month. That is NOT ok.
* I also learned this week that there are some scary drivers out there! I mean, if you can't even get through a car wash how did you get your license?? All you have to do is put it in neutral.. This statement is aimed towards the chinese lady that had the hardest time getting through the car wash... It was absolutely dreadful. lol

Awesome, Awkward, Awful.
I took this idea from another blog I have seen. Every week I'm going to post things that happened to me that were awesome, awkward, or awful. Hopefully there won't be too many awful things, but I can guarantee there are going to be MANY awkward things. Most of the things I post about will probably be stories from work since that's where I spend most of my time now. haha

Awesome.
* I got a new job and I love it. I calculated it out and with wages and tips I am making an average of 24 dollars an hour. WOOHOO
* I just went shopping online for some new summer clothes :)
* Dutch Bros wants me to work for them and even though I am not going to take the job, I still think its awesome.
* I love my work outfit. We get to wear these really nice purple jackets, black jeans and the rain boots I bought! :)

Awkward.
* Two days ago I got to work and Jase walked in the door and around the corner. He said "how are you doin?" so I said "Gooood.." Then he proceeded to help the customer he was talking to and I realized he wasn't talking to me. Then he comes around the corner again and says "so you're doing good huh?"
* Yesterday at work, a car pulled up to be washed and I thought I recognized her so I waved enthusiastically and smiled at her. So she did the same back. After I got to drying her car, I realized I had no clue who this person was.
* Going in to Blue Palms and trying to manage three different cups of frozen yogurt. A word to the wise, its very hard to dispense the yogurt into your cup if you set it at the bottom of the machine.

Awful.
* I am not very excited for Valentines day. I have no special plans and that is a first for me.
* An old lady with breathing tubes accidentally rolled her wrist up in her window trying to give me a tip. People actually do it all the time but this one made me feel awful.
* I accidentally power washed the skin of my hand yesterday. This is what it looks like today. :(

New Job! New Dress!

So it only took a little less than a year, but I finally got a JOB at the Car and Dog Wash! The best part is how much money I will be making in tips! On a normal day the workers make about 100-150 dollars in tips. That is amazing. lol I will also be getting a workout from this new job which is also another plus. :) and  I will be working with one of my best friends! Even though she will probably not work on the same days since she has school on the days I will most likely be working. But the only thing I really care about, is that I HAVE A JOB! :D AND I start tomorrow :)

So now that I am almost making money I can't stop imagining things I can buy. But I keep reminding myself that it would be best to save most of it :) but I would also like to finally take a trip somewhere warm... hmmm I guess we will have to see what I end up doing with my money. haha

Other than getting a new job, not a whole lot of exciting things have happened since the last time I blogged. O ya. My parents espresso stand got broken into last Thursday night. And the bugler didn't even take anything. Just broke the window and left some blood and finger prints. haha and he also tried to take some bags of chocolate chai but dropped them in the snow on his way out. which I don't understand at all. But since he tried to take the bags of chocolate chai he is now being charged with burglary and intent to commit a crime, instead of just breaking and entering or whatever its called. lol what a loser.

I also finished the Hunger Games series and I was very disappointed in the ending. I'm having a hard time being mad at the author though because I absolutely loved all three books until the final 20 pages... It just seemed like she got bored with writing and summed everything up in a couple paragraphs. :( BUT, overall I loved the books. :) Now I'm looking for something new to read :) My sister and I and some of my sister's friends are thinking about starting a book club. I know. I'm a nerd :P

My best friend Jade comes home this weekend! :) and it's super bowl weekend so it should be a pretty good weekend! :)

ALSO!! I finally got my dress for White Rose! Here's what it looks like on me! I just need to find shoes, a tie to match for tanner and some jewlery to go along with it! :)

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Today I went to Synergy with Tyler for his late birthday lunch! I bought him a slice of chocolate cake only to find out that hes on a strict diet so he can't really eat my cake. :( haha its ok though because it was nice to catch up with Tyler :)

When I went to Safeway to buy his cake the cashier at the check out asked me if "it was a cake kind of day?" I spent all morning wondering what she meant by that.. like first of all, isn't every day a cake day?? haha and if not, what does a cake day look like?? I think it bothered me more than it should have but it confused me and I still don't know what she meant by that. lol

On a less happy note, Tanner is thinking about going into the ROTC program at WSU so he will have all his college paid for and more.. which is awesome except he would have to leave to another state for a whole month during summer and its already hard enough to see him when hes living only 2 and a half hours away... and the worst part... he has the possibility of being deployed to fight at some point in his life.. that's so terrible. i cant even imagine war.  I know he doesn't want to do that but to him it looks like his only option to pay for school.. I don't want to be the one to tell him not to go because I know how much school means to him and he needs the money and I'm trying not to be selfish in this whole thing.. I recommended that he stay in moses through summer and the fall semester so he can stay and make money from working so then he will have enough to pay for a couple more semesters so I know he is considering that as an option but thank goodness he is coming home this weekend to talk to his parents about everything. I really don't think I could handle him leaving for war or even boot camp. I just watched Dear John a week or two ago and I cried my eyes out. I don't want that to be me. haha so wish Tanner luck that he comes up with a better option than ROTC. :(

So a little recap on how I feel about the Bachelor so far...
COURTNEY NEEDS TO LEAVE. I can't stand how fake she is and her stupid baby voice is annoying!! So far I'm rooting for Kacey B. and Nikki. Except Kacey B. is getting a little too emotional too soon. hmmm... can't wait till next week!

To end this on a happy note, I started reading the third book in the Hunger Games series and I love it so far! I can hardly put the book down! so that's what I will be doing all tonight! :)

Boring Sunday

This is what my day has been like so far...

Last night I finally finished the second book of the Hunger Games! :) After I get ready I am headed to Hastings to get the third book and I am way too excited!

PATRIOTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL! :D now we just have to see who wins the next game..

After the game I think I will go make cake pops at my sisters house even though I can't eat them :( haha

New dress and Motivation to fit in my new dress!

Something exciting that happened to me today.... I bought my dress today for the Sigma Nu White Rose Formal in Canada!

Now I just need some heels and a tie for Tanner to match! :D I really want some glittery high heels that match but i think that color might be too hard to match...

On another note, I am very excited for my weight loss challenge! Its only been a few days but I already feel more healthy! I printed out some pictures and quotes for my wall and fridge for motivation! And I'm making sure that I look like this by the end of my eight week challenge:

Two Thousand Twelve

So, I'm back! I decided to start blogging again (thanks to Jade :)) but i also decided that I don't need to make myself blog every day. So here's whats new:

2012 has motivated me to become the person I've always wanted to be. More successful in every aspect of my life. A few days ago I started an 8 week weight loss challenge with my family. Basically I get points for doing good things like drinking 64 oz a day and eating a certain amount of fruits and veggies. My goal is to lose 15 pounds by the end of the eight weeks and its definitely going to happen! :)

I've been working for my mom at the espresso stand which is nice because I like making money and I hate sitting at home by myself all day. haha but it gets a little ridiculous for me to waste gas driving all the way to Othello so I'm working on getting a different job in town.

I applied to Big Bend so next quarter I can get back into school and get back on the right track again.

What I've learned lately: I need to focus on smaller goals one at a time before I can start focusing so much on the future. My whole life I've always planned for the future and never for the present and I believe that is what has set me back a couple steps. I just need to start small to succeed and have the life I want. And I know now that nobody else is going to do it for me. Just me myself and I. :)

I've also made 2012 a year that I will have no regrets. I'm very focused and driven this year and I'm sad that it took me this long to realize what I need to do. I know I will make mistakes, but I'm determined to learn from them and continue on to make my life the life I want to live.

As for relationships, I am working on improving them. That includes everyone. Tanner, my best friends and my family. Life is too short to be anything but happy so I'm not going to waste the time I have :)

Also, I have become a pinterest addict so I think blogging is going to be a little more fun for me!

Update

Dang. A whole week without blogging. haha I guess I should update my blog a little. Finished up with finals and all that and now I'm back home :)
For the summer I am going to be working at my moms coffee stand and also another job so today I  am going to be searching for a job at a coffee stand in town, then I'm doing laundry and sitting outside. Since Ive been home Ive been waking up at 9:30 or earlier and if feels really good to get my days started earlier than normal. :)
DAY EIGHTY-NINE: Are you self aware?

DAY NINETY-ONE: Name a book you read in class that wasn't entirely awful.
From last year, I can't name one because they were all awful. lol I know at some time of my highschool career I read a good book but I can't even think of a book title right now.

DAY NINETY-TWO: What you have learned just from attending your school.
Honestly, I have never learned more than what I have in this year of school at WSU. I have learned so much more about myself, my career, living on my own, dealing with issues that I have never come across. I have learned so many new things just from attending WSU. I'm very excited to go back and continue with my career and keep learning new things about myself. :)

DAY NINETY-THREE: What about the opposite sex you can't understand.
Well boys are pretty simple most of the time. or at least its usually easy to understand there thoughts. haha but what I don't understand is why boys can't think more like girls and understand us. haha

DAY NINETY-FOUR: Do you keep your thoughts to yourself?
Sometimes. It depends whos around to talk to and it also depends what the situation is. If I have something to say to someone and its a compliment or something good I usually tell them. :)

DAY NINETY-FIVE: Describe the weather occurring right now.
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! :) Its sunny and its already 58 degrees!! :) I am definately going outside today to read or sleep or something. haha

FELICITY'S BIRTHDAY IS TODAY! :) Happy Birthday to my cute niece Felicity!

Finals Week. ugh.

So finals start today. Luckily I don't have a final today. I just have to turn in a paper tomorrow, turn in my english portfolio on wednesday and then I have a final on thursday and a final on friday and I'm out of here. This week is a bittersweet week for everyone. I'm sad to leave Pullman but at the same time I can't wait to be home for summer.
Today's schedule:

I will be up all night tonight doing homework and getting ready for my finals. I'm a little stressed out but that means that summer is only getting closer.

DAY EIGHTY-EIGHT: Does money equal happiness?
Honestly, in my opinion, it can. You have to have money to pay for almost everything and that will give you happiness but if I had to choose between love and money, I would choose love. Money isn't everything but I do think in some ways it makes people happier.

Sunday

Yesterday I had a very lazy Sunday. Ive had the worst allergies the last two days. Tanner and I rented "Due Date" and "Dinner for Schmucks". I was a little disappointed with Due Date. I thought it was going to be much funnier than it was but it was still ok. I love Dinner for Schmucks though! Its sooooo funny in a rude way. haha


DAY EIGHTY-SEVEN: What are your favorite smells?
I have so many favorite smells.
- fresh cut grass. (i know kinda weird. haha) the smell of new books. (also very weird. lol) the smell of the ocean. coffee, rain, flowers, oranges, the smell of abercrombie & fitch and hollister. (I couldn't help it. haha) sun tan lotion, bacon
hmm. I can't really think of any others but I will write them down later if I think of any more. :)

Saturday

if you say Saturday over and over, it sounds like a really weird word and you don't know what you are saying anymore. lol

I had a wonderful Saturday and a pretty great Saturday night considering it was my last weekend in Pullman. :( but only for a while! :)

DAY EIGHTY-SIX: What's the difference between living and existing?
Existing is when you are just alive to go through life and get it over with. Living is when you are doing the things that make you happy and you enjoy life and live it to its full potential.

So I am the worst blogger ever. haha that's ok though. I made up for the week I haven't blogged. And on my defense I have had the busiest week ever! It's dead week and I've had sooooo much to do to get ready for the end of the year. Ive been busy tanning, watching extra credit movies for a class, writing papers, finishing things for Gamma Phi and I finally got to register but I'm nowhere near being done with my schedule but so far I have Math, Human Development 205, AMT 108, and AMT 210. I still need a gen ed class and I don't know about taking math and hd at the same time cause I heard its really hard. I also need to take Entomology 101 but its all full. :( but I will get it figured out. I'm so excited! My parents told me that we might go to Disneyland this summer so that made me extremely happy! haha I don't think anyone loves Disneyland like I do.

I can't believe I only have one more class left for the year... It doesn't seem real that I will be on Summer Break in 7 days!! :) I'm so excited to work and make money, camp, lay in the sun, go running in the mornings, AHHH! I'm so excited!!!

So last night we had our mom dot sneak kind of. haha I finished my paddle but I forgot to take a picture of it. :( I think I'm gunna ask Ellen for a picture but I also think that's a little weird. ahah
Also yesterday we got our packet for recruitment! We have all our outfits planned out which means lots and lots of shopping this summer!! :)

DAY EIGHTY-FIVE: If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?
hmm.. I think my message would have to do with living life. or going green or something like that. I had public speaking though so my message will definitely never get across that way.. haha but I would rather worry about what I'm doing with my life instead of other people. It's not my job to tell people how to live. :)

I think it can be both. Sometimes people cry too much for no reason except attention but like when boys cry I think its strength. Idk. i think if someone is crying there is a reason they are crying so I wouldnt say its a weakness.

DAY EIGHTY-THREE: If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Well if this question is pertaining to being a teacher in school, i would want to teach graphic design like Melbye or computer and camera stuff like Boole. If I couldn't teach either of these I would teach figure sculpting or some kind of yoga class. :) haha

Yes of course I would. I can't really think of a senerio that this would apply to though.. haha but of course I would do anything to save someone I loved.

DEAD WEEK BEGINS.

DAY EIGHTY-ONE: Your biggest fear.
Clowns. O my. I hate clowns soooooo much. Im beginning to get over my fear. I dont cry anymore when I see them. I remember in eighth grade Jordan Beeman and Jason would change my computer screen to a scary clown before computer class and I would sign on and get extremely mad and scared.
Another fear I have is spiders. I dont really like spiders at all. Ive had too many scary encounters with them. haha

Easter Sunday

Happy Late Easter!

 Sunday my parents came down for the day and took tanner and I to lunch at new garden. YUMMIEST chinese food ever. then we drove to moscow to find out that everything was closed for easter so on the way back we stopped by the bears. A little bit off campus we have a place were students study bears, cows and sheep. But the bears were soooo awesome! I wish I could work with them! there were like 7 adult bears and 2 or 3 little cubs. They were the cutest things ever!!  after the bears we just drove around a little more and then they took a bunch of our stuff home that we packed. 

It was so nice to see my parents on Easter. :) 

DAY EIGHTY: One of your favorite childhood memories.

I have so many good memories growing up with Jonathan, Kim, Rachel and Ashley. 

I always had so much fun with jonathan. he was my best friend since I was 2. We used to pretend we were characters from Rocket Power when we would jump on the trampoline together. We spent EVERY DAY together. I did a lot of "exploring" other peoples property and pretending I was something really cool. When we would ride in cars together we would pretend there were buttons on the back seats that would change the car into whatever we wanted and we thought of every button from a drink maker to turning the car into a submarine. I miss those days with Jonathan.

Saturday

Friday night Jade and Kristi came to Pullman! Jordan was busy doing initiation things so Kristi came to hang out with us! we had a really fun night except this was the first night of the whole year where there was literally NOTHING going on. lol but we went to tanners live out and hung out with the guys there, then we went to another live out where my twin was! and they had a bon fire so we hung out by the fire all night and hung out with the guys there :) It was a great night and when we got home we wanted to order pizza so we called Pizza Perfection and asked them if they had any deals. They said that some people ordered two monster pizzas but they meant to order from moscow. So the guy offered us a monster pizza for 13 bucks when they are normally 40. At the time we didnt realize how big a monster pizza actually was. This is what we ended up with.

Poor kristi could only handle half of a piece..

So saturday Jade and I got up and went tanning, and went to walmart, then we went to some block parties! it was so nice outside! I even got to wear shorts! :) We partied all day and then went to our date dash :) it was a good day!

DAY SEVENTY-NINE: Why do you feel as though people judge others?
I feel like people judge other people for a few reasons. most of the time it is just because they are jealous of what other people have. but i dont think its always out of jealousy. I mean I judge people and I honestly can't tell you why. Maybe its because I get bored, sometimes its because that person has done something to hurt me or make me feel bad so I guess I feel like I need to find their flaws to make it right, (even though I know its not right.) sometimes its out of jealousy but when it is I can admit it. I try not to judge people anymore and I try to remove the negative thoughts.

Today my best friend Jade comes! and Kristi will be here too! :) I have a busy day planned!
Laundry at 10-1 basically, tanning in between, quiz for history of rock and roll at 1, class at 3, jade gets here, more cleaning and packing and moving stuff out of the way, dinner, Kristi comes, then we are getting ready to go out!


DAY SEVENTY-EIGHT: Would you rather people be honest with you, even if it's something not good, or lie to you to make you feel good?
I would rather be told the truth. Nothing good can come from a lie. I always want to know the truth and I would encourage people to tell me the truth unless they are just trying to hurt peoples feelings. then I feel like its unnecessary.

Thursday

Last night i was officially initiated into Gamma Phi Beta. :) I love my sisters!! I had a wonderful time and I can't wait to get my letters from my mom!

Words to describe today. FRUSTRATED. IRRITATED. EXCITED. HAPPY.
As you can tell, Ive had a very mixed up day. lol I'm frustrated and irritated because I'm having trouble with the financial aid office, registrar's office, center for advising, the amt department and my advisor. I have talked to all of these people today and nobody can help me lift a hold from my schedule. I need to register today because classes are filling up and i neeeeed these classes. nobody knows how to help me and they aren't helping at all. All day i was just transferred to another department so they could tell me they will transfer me to another department that knows nothing. gah!
but on a better note, I'm excited to be done with this semester, and I'm excited for summer. obviously cause i talk about it in every post. haha
I'm happy today though because my mom and dad sent me a package that had Easter stuff and money for tanner and i. :) it was super cute and my parents are thinking about coming here on Sunday to see me and take some of my stuff home so i don't have a lot of stuff to take home on the last day. :)) I'm also happy because Jade and Kristi are coming this weekend :) and I have a date dash with Tanner this weekend. :) I just have a lot to be happy about :)

so for the next two hours I'm going to be packing as much as possible. then i have a post initiation workshop thing to go to tonight.
